Newry Golf Course is an 18 hole golf course with grass greens and beautiful old gum trees. On all tees and greens is a fully automated watering system, and the course is open all year. Newry Golf Course covers mostly flat terrain and a creek features on the course. There are two water hazards and two bunkers, and a practice fairway and green are available. This is a peaceful easy course to play and is appreciated by golfers of all ages.
The Outback Tomato and Veggie Farm on the Bengworden Rd near Perry Bridge has been in operation for the past 8 years. The farm plants close to 25,000 hybrid tomatoes on 3.2ha and can comfortably trade until August due to the ideal conditions of the area. Outback Farm also sells a range of other vegetables including capsicums, eggplant, cucumber, zucchini, parsnip, carrot, beetroot and pumpkin.
Up until August the farm is open 7 days a week from 9am to 6pm.
Seaspray Surf Lifesaving Club is a volunteer organisation located on the Ninety Mile beach in Gippsland. Founded in 1955, the club has a strong history of providing the local community with a safe aquatic environment. Seaspray SLSC participates and conducts numerous events throughout the surf calendar year, which caters for all levels of involvement from Nippers to senior competitors as well as family and associate memberships.
Blores Hill Mountain Bike Park is a magnificent area of natural bushland just a few minutes North of Heyfield on the Tinamba-Glenmaggie Road. Set on approximately 50 acres of land managed by Parks Victoria and maintained by Gippsland Mountain Bike Club, Blores Hill MTB boasts an array of trails specifically designed for mountain bike riders. There are many trails of different styles and difficulties, ranging from beginners to the most experienced with many features including, jumps, bridges, rocky outcrops, technical elements and flowing trails throughout the beautiful bushland.
The Heyfield Golf Course features 18 holes in natural woodlands setting; well irrigated and manicured, and at just on 6,000 metres, our par 72 course is one of Gippsland’s toughest challenges. The course is 1 Km from the town of Heyfield, and just 5 minutes drive to beautiful Lake Glenmaggie.

Blue Pool is a fantastic, deep swimming hole in a gorge on Freestone Creek, and one of the most popular spots in the state forest on a hot day. After your swim, you can walk a couple of hundred metres to a lookout over the creek, or stroll through a cheery fern gully. Blue Pool is 10 km north of Briagolong off Freestone Creek Rd.

This walk features the Bluff Lookout with views of the Mitchell River Gorge, deep green pockets of warm temperate rainforest and Woolshed Creek. As you walk through the rainforest gully, stepping stones lead you into the Den itself. Tradition has it the Nargun lives there; a fierce being, half human and half stone. The best way to absorb the eerie atmosphere of the Den of Nargun is from a safe distance. The Gunai/Kurnai people and Parks Victoria ask you to respect this special place by not entering the cave.

Start this 2-day hike from either Tarra Bulga National Park or Morwell National Park and make your way along the Grand Strzelecki Track stopping overnight at the Jumbuk Rest Area. Though well marked, some areas have minimal infrastructure, so a level of fitness and experience is required.
